Situé au sommet de la station touristique du Massif du Sud, le projet du Refuge consistait en la construction d’un nouveau chalet de ski destiné à offrir aux visiteurs un espace de repos chaleureux et convivial. Le bâtiment a été réalisé à partir de panneaux de murs et de toiture préfabriqués en bois lamellé-croisé (CLT) fournis par Sokïo Industries, une solution permettant une installation rapide et réduisant les interventions en chantier. Ce choix constructif favorise non seulement l’efficacité et la qualité d’exécution, mais il répond également à de hauts standards environnementaux tout en mettant de l’avant les bienfaits de la biophilie grâce à l’utilisation du bois.

Located at the summit of the Massif du Sud resort, the Refuge project involved the construction of a new ski chalet designed to provide visitors with a warm and welcoming rest area. The building was constructed using prefabricated cross-laminated timber (CLT) wall and roof panels supplied by Sokïo Industries, a solution that enabled rapid installation with minimal on-site work. This structural approach not only ensures efficiency and quality of execution, but also meets high environmental standards while highlighting the biophilic benefits of wood integration.
